Our Story

The Future Laboratory was created in mid-2020. It emerged from an idea developed by a group of individuals who shared a common concern: the need to envision the country, its structures, and the future of its inhabitants at a time when technology was advancing at an extraordinary pace. The group believed that, as a society, we were not keeping up with the speed of these changes adequately. More than just keeping pace, the issue was deeper—we needed to anticipate these changes. Once again, the goal was to avoid arriving late to the future, to shape it on our own terms, and, most importantly, not to be led by it. We saw a world undergoing extraordinary transformation and decided not to observe from the sidelines as mere spectators but to become protagonists and agents of change. And that is exactly what we are doing.

Our Values

Transparency

All activities, both ongoing and in development, strive to uphold the highest level of transparency. There are no hidden interests behind our development efforts.

Depth

For every topic we address, we strive to reach the core of its meaning while also explaining it in a way that makes it accessible to everyone who needs to understand and apply it.

Anticipation

Each activity is focused on understanding phenomena, correlations, and anticipating their consequences. This anticipation operates on two levels: the immediate effects and their long-term implications, for which we must design new responses.

Collaboration

It has always been one of the guiding principles of the Project to offer and receive the broadest collaboration with organizations, institutions, companies, and individuals who are genuinely concerned and interested in technology and its impact on the future.

Philosophy

The Technological Revolution is transforming everything: companies, jobs, and professional profiles. The impact of automation is completely reshaping the workplace. Jobs disappear, while new ones emerge at a pace where supply struggles to meet demand quickly enough. This is no longer a prediction—it is our reality. The market demands that we learn new languages, such as computational language, and embrace a new humanism. It also requires us to develop skills that are resilient to automation, artificial intelligence, and other challenges—such as critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and creativity. Beyond these challenges, we have unprecedented opportunities to drive change.
